Affordable Holiday Outfits for Every Occasion

Affordable Holiday Outfits for Every Occasion

I am so excited that it is the Holiday season! The whole holiday season means that there’s no shortage of parties and celebrations. I put together my favorite holiday outfits using versatile and affordable pieces. Each holiday outfit is designed to fit a different occasion.

I wanted to make sure I repeated a chunk of the pieces in this post to show that if you find the right ones, some pieces are so versatile and multiple looks can be created with them. I styled these outfits with the intention of having them be something you can wear for all the celebrations, whether it’s a family event, night out with friends, or a work party!

If you are feeling stressed about everything going on in the holiday season and are looking for an easy way to manage everything, check out this post!

the understated holiday outfit: the dressed-down velvet leggings

Everyone needs that comfy but super cute holiday outfit for hanging out with the family or going to a work party.

Velvet is such a staple fabric for the winter, and they come in so many colors other than black! The reason I chose these black velvet leggings is because this makes these bottoms versatile enough that they can be worn even when it is not the holiday season. This black velvet leggings will also see a lot of wear after the holidays when the weather outside is cold!

what I am wearing

This top is also everything to me because it can be worn off the shoulder or on the shoulder. Both ways is super cute, and the puffy sleeves perfectly offset the fitted waist. The blue and white stripes can be paired with some white shorts in the summer for a breezy look, or it can be paired with some black bottoms as I wore it here for the winter months.

A look like this is meant to be more understated; the statement pieces in this outfit are the faux fur coat and the white booties. These white booties make me so happy because they are super comfortable to wear around the city, and they immediately elevate this outfit. Paired with this faux fur coat from the Carli Bybel and Missguided collaboration, the look is given that  holiday-season feel without being over the top.

the statement outfit: the classic red skirt

Every single Holiday look I have seen features some form of red skirt or red dress. I love this skirt because it is a twist on the traditional look. This skirt is a wrap maxi skirt, but because of how flowy it is and how much fabric there is, some angles makes this skirt look like a maxi skirt with a slit to show off your legs. I also love the idea of wearing this skirt in the summer paired with a bralette crop top and some wedges for a breezy look! Unfortunately, this skirt is sold out but I’m linking some amazing alternatives!

what I am wearing

The top I chose is a simple white sleeveless button up because I wanted to make sure that the look is focused on the skirt. In order to add some bling and glittery goodness to this, I added some super cute rhinestone glittery drop earrings that pair perfectly with this long necklace of the same style. When I’m wearing bolder jewelry, I like to balance it out by wearing a simpler top.

As y’all can see, I repeated the same coat, booties, and bag as the previous outfit. This crossbody is perfect to me because gold is the perfect pop of color against the red, and when you’re moving about at a party, the last thing you want to do is worry about holding onto your handbag, and crossbody bags are everything.

the classy look: the little black dress

I wanted to make sure that y’ll had a classic holiday look to fall back to because sometimes, the best looks are the simplest. This dress, however, isn’t like all of the other dresses. I love the bow detailing on the back of this dress. This specific dress was from seasons ago, but I am linking a super similar one that comes in red and black!

what I am wearing

I paired this look with these beautifully studded heels. They match the earrings and necklace I’m wearing (which is the same ones as in the previous look). I’m not the biggest fan of wearing actual heels, although I’m a huge fan of wearing heeled shoes like boots or booties with heels. These heels are definitely more comfortable than most, but will still require a bit of practice! One tip to wearing heels is to always step heel, toe, heel, toe!

The crossbody bag I wore in the previous look has been converted to a clutch to create a classic look. Because of the thickness of the clutch bag, it is super easy to hold or to tuck under your arms to free up your hands!

That is it for my holiday looks! I hope I have provided y’all with a ton of inspiration for what to wear, as well as show that if you find the right pieces to buy, they are super versatile, and can definitely be worn in different ways!

Lastly, I need to mention that the lipstick I am wearing is from Jeffree Star Cosmetics! It is the velour liquid lipstick in Redrum, and it is the perfect shade of red for the holidays. An alternative is also Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Santa Sangre or Outlaw!

I am so appreciative of every single one of you that visits my blog to read or comments or likes my pictures on social media. I am so eternally grateful to you all!
